I loved the characters and the story premise.
The two have been separated by the Atlantic Ocean for a number of years and their friendship has gotten a bit stale, but when Liv comes to visit, it’s like they were never apart.How often do you say yes to new opportunities these days? Now we have the video. Erin Spencer and Emma Sable are new-to-me authors, and they did a bang-up job with this collaboration.I loved, loved, loved this story! It was so cute and glad I had an opportunity to read this book. It's about falling in love, but it's not a romance. Floyd’s respiratory crisis was caused by the Fentanyl he had ingested before the police showed up on the scene. I laughed and just lost myself in the story.
His inability to breathe had nothing to do with the neck restraint applied by the Minneapolis police.Now we know that the entire premise of the Black Lives Matter riots was based on a false claim of police abuse.

I enjoyed this fun rom-com feeling book set in LA about best friends Liv and Bex by real life best friends Erin Spencer and Emma Sable. George Floyd was not killed by police. Highly recommend!I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the book, but I really enjoyed it.
They fought. First there was the transcript. You feel the strong chemistry once Bex does find that connection. And while Liv jumps headfirst into improving Bex’s life, Bex has to wonder: what’s going on with Liv? I'm glad that the story alternated from both Bex and Liv's viewpoints.
