I was very glad to find Bustelo in the grocery store when I finally moved back East. El Pico and Cafe Bustelo are the best coffees I have found for Italian stove top espresso. Medium roast allows you to appreciate the flavor without adding too much milk and sugar. I will have to try your way. The price is not that bad either in comparison to other more expensive brands such as illy. But not one sip tasted bitter, or even instant to be honest.
