The Two Pillars: Service and Recognition. NRHH used to build its foundation on four pillars: Scholarship, Recognition, Service, and Leadership. Service: Service is one of NRHH’s core values in establishing active, diverse, and strong housing communities. Our chapter has fluctuated in active membership throughout the years. NRHH seeks to recognize and honor students who have shown outstanding dedication to each of these four pillars on our campus within the residence halls. During the preliminary organization, the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) focused on the . New members are selected each semester from applications received and reviewed by a selection committee. Congratulations to Akeem Samuels, who was awarded with our S.T.A.R. Thus being selected into the membership is an honor in which one can take a great amount of pride.Today our chapter strives to be active within the VCU and Richmond communities. Since the organization’s inception, it focused on recognizing the outstanding student leaders within residence halls.

NRHH is the only nationwide organization that recognizes residence hall leaders. It is through service, leadership, scholarship, and recognition that our members make a difference in their community.The National Residence Hall Honorary wants to make sure to notify you of the amazing work people are doing at VCU. NRHH promotes activities, which encourage leadership qualities in residents, and provides recognition to Residence Life programs and programmers.
