The only thing to note, is that it is not paved all the way around and so is not completely stroller accessible.Very dog friendly trail! Good mix of wildlife and plant life to take in. The prices were fair.Very friendly staff. Lynx Lake, Arizona, is a 55-acre (220,000 m 2) reservoir located within Prescott National Forest, approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) east of Prescott, Arizona, in the Bradshaw Mountains.The lake is located at 5,530 feet (1,690 m) elevation and is stocked for fishing. Showers remain closed. A ranger today told me the hike is actually 3.1 miles, not 2.7. See you in 2020!

Please choose a different date.Sorry, there are no tours or activities available to book online for the date(s) you selected. Our waitress was an absolute riot and our food was off the chart! Plenty of parking at 10am on a Saturday morning. My dog loved just laying in the lake every once in a while to cool off.

There is a store and restaurant at the North end of LEnjoy an easy hike around the lake, the west side is paved making it very doable. Most sites in Alto Pit, Hilltop, Potato Patch, Yavapai, and White Spar Campgrounds may be reserved, but there are several sites in each of these campgrounds that are set aside for walk-in visitors. Mostly shaded, but still recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat. Great place to park for these trails. We took our small yorkie with us and she had no problem keeping up. They had a pork tenderloin for one of their breakfast items but I wanted to make it into a sandwich rather than breakfast. I mean buzzing fills the air, hundreds of bees type situation. trail is pretty narrow in most places and there are some spots with heavy brush cover to walk through. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until September. Of particular notice from our group of varying ages--on two different occasions--were the German Pancakes and the buttermilk biscuits.We decided to try this place for their Sunday brunch. Salida had a water release so you could not cross the creek without getting your feet wet.
