With any large group of teachers, though, there are bound to be bad eggs. I found my best friends at West Linn High School. The Central Catholic community is so strong and I have made friends that will last a lifetime. I especially like language arts and my teachers truly have a broad understanding of the world and inspire us.

My child has excellent academic results thanks to a combination between her work, teacher's ability to adapt their teaching style to the student, and the learning environment. At the Open House, teachers were present and shared with us about their courses and teaching approach. The small school environment allows each student to have an education tailored to their needs.

As a Senior, I feel I was consistently supported by my teachers, counselors, and administration team throughout high school. My work colleague, a Jesuit alumni highly recommended JHS, and we applied.

I have had kids at different private and public elementary schools, and I have been so impressed with the quality of the education and the strength of the community at Oak Hill. We parents are happy. I acquired relationships at that school that I will never forget. Along with Sunset's amazing arts program, the connection level with teachers and students are often emphasized in classes and activities. Additionally, I wish that the middle school was better at holding students accountable for their actions in and out of the classroom. I can't say enough about the wonderful teachers, counselors, principal, and front office.

When I entered high school, I was put on a 504 plan which gave me accommodations (such as extra time on tests and quizes) and enabled my teachers to better support me, all which was really useful when I started taking AP and IB classes. It's a great school for students who come in with a level of privilege and competitive spirit, although it's not an easy place to fall behind. My dream was to help other people find the beauty and happiness in life and in themselves that Delphian opened my eyes to, and I couldn't imagine any better way to do that than by joining the group that led me through my own beautiful education.St.

One of the few things I would like to see change at the school is connectivity between the upper school and middle school.

My older kids love the online choices, and the teachers are quick to grade and give great feedback. By graduation we could to recognize when there was a question, ask the question, pursue the answer and then sit back and reflect critically on the process – maybe try again. However, this school is a great place to prepare yourself for college and to gain an academic, exciting, and full high school experience.As a well-known college prep school, it appears to be an excellent school. They then got so excited talking to each other about how they collaborate on the IB curriculum they eventually had to be light-heartedly "shushed" so the presentations could continue! They were repeatedly challenged, never allowed to slack and the student body had more IEPs (kids with learning issues) than other schools. Everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Every student, K-12, has PE every day.

While the stress culture at St. Mary's is intense and can be very unhealthy mentally, the environment is a lovely place that I would recommend to anyone looking for an academic high school experience.

The food could be better but that goes for every high school really. They don't really detract from the experience, but just be prepared. Most of the teachers really care about what they teach. People tend to look down on someone who's "only" taking 1 AP class.I absolutely loved my time at Central Catholic! Overall, Sunset is a well-rounded, diversified school and I hope to continue studying here!I attended Bethany Elementary kindergarten through fourth grade, and it was a great place to learn and grow up. I will say that while the administration is certainly very religious and Catholic, the actual student body does not seem very respectful to Christian beliefs. The student body is huge, so you meet new people every day.

There are definitely pros and cons to every high school, but I am really glad I chose Lakeridge High School.Really, really incredible. I already knew a lot of people before going into it, which definitely aided my time there and gives me a different perspective than a transfer student who comes knowing nobody.
