Baum Stadium is a beautiful ballpark! The views from all seats are good. It is very entertaining to listen. At Arkansas, the portable boxes will be placed in the back of the left-field area known as the Hog Pen, between existing bleachers and the gate at the corner of Razorback Road and Baum Drive. There are several ways to experience a game here. It is a family friendly place but watch out for the outfield where the fans harass the opposing teams outfielders.
Hanging out in Baum Stadium’s Hog Pen is one of the uniquely Fayetteville ways to spend a spring night in Northwest Arkansas. No outside food or beverages are permitted inside the ballpark, with the exception of the Hog Pen. The facility is second to none and expansion and improvements are being made as I write this. All food and beverages brought into the Hog Pen are to be kept in that area and not allowed inside the concourse at Baum-Walker Stadium.
You can sit in the Hog Pen and bring your own chair or sit in the bleachers.This stadium is better than many minor league parks. Baseball public will call is located at the Gate A on the north side of Baum Stadium. It quickly became the model ballpark in college baseball and has withstood the test of time—with the help of some improvements over the years that have increased its seating capacity and the number of suites, as well as changing the playing surface from artificial turf to grass.
