After dinner there was only one thing to do, walk the 100 yards to bar up front and turn on the drinking lamp.
You can only guess what is under dark red bedspread, don't look, it is still light out. If your looking for fancy this is not your place, but if you wanna have a good time with great people and just relax, this is the place to do it.
The river is just nearby and looks wonderful - we are definiely coming back for some kayaking.

Staggering back to your cabin you can finally say "Damn I'm glad we rented this place". If you are looking for a 4, 3 or even 2 star hotel then this is not it. The hotel is no frills, very clean and comfortable, and the service excellent and engaging. Have an afternoon beer outside at the bait shop & watch the fisherman come in. The river is just nearby and looks wonderful - we are definiely coming back for some kayaking.
