The total package was perfect...cocktails, wines, sushi and various main courses.
My fiancé and I both ordered the “Chef’s Surprise” prix fixe menu and found the portions much smaller than the regular menu and the price slightly higher. Highly recommend!Nice location but the service was quite slow. I had the guillemot starter and the trio of seafood (ling, trout and puffin) and the skyr mousse for dessert. Had the most delicius three course dinner (set menu), starting with lobster sushi (and I am even not that fond of sushi but this one was great), then grilled salmon and finally sweet desert, Highly recommend. The restaurant is closed on the 24. and the 25. we open again at 17:00 on the 26. :) Diverse and elaborate menu, good food and good service. We'll be in Akureyri September 22 thru 24, and are looking for a fine dining restaurant for reservations!
