Acadia is the preferred Assisted Living community in Dallas, Texas. So they didn't really know anything about how to handle patients, maneuver them, or how to get them to the commode. At The Avenues of Park Forest, we believe in a vibrant senior living experience full of community and camaraderie. The expense is a little high, but not any higher for these places in the area. Arcadia’s senior communities are just that – community. Finding, developing and encouraging the passion projects of our residents is a daily pursuit at Arcadia.Our activities, excursions, and programs are all designed for our residents to find a deeper level of connection with the joy of everyday life. The staff has been very attentive. When everyday activities become too difficult to manage by ourselves, we often need our family and loved ones to lean on. So far, the staff has been really pleasant. My brother's room is very nice, and nobody has lived in it. Just minutes away are the white sandy beaches of lovely Sarasota and Bradenton.
They have a beautiful dining room, very large, open, plush, spacious and open community. We believe our staff is a resource.

It's just very nice and they have sitting areas in the hallways. When a prospective resident comes through our door, the first thing we do is to listen to his/her care needs. Once a week, they have transportation to doctor's appointments, an exercise room for strengthening and mobility. My friend's care just continued to snowball and ended up being complete care which ended up costing around $8,000 a month.
