But Merida enjoys a much closer position with a drive of less than 90 minutes. Buses can be a great bet for some people for some locations, but tours and rental cars are more practical (or necessary) for other Yucatan attractions.For those comfortable with independent travel, public transportation can be a good consideration to get around Yucatan’s more connected destinations.
