It's something she's been working towards in different ways throughout the series and throughout this season.I agree, I think it was a poor call. Alex should continue training her like she did in season one and Barry should have like a weekly training session with either Oliver, Diggle, or Dinah.Flash's version of fightning is to run into the enemy head first wishing they don't try to hit him, even I could do better than that.Yea that definitely raised an eyebrow. This was exactly what I was thinking. It's unlikely that she'll hurt a civilian or weaker superhuman this way, as Kryptonians have preternaturally fast reflexes and speed (she'd be able to change the velocity of her attack nigh-instantaneously), but her opening punch against an empowered opponent will be much more devastating than an opening punch from Superman. Two: This may be specific to that 00's continuity. Kara is not stronger than Clark. Yep.It would be an all-out apocalyptic deathwatch, with the winner beating the loser to death and likely dying alongside of them, if necessary. But no, they went with a tidy boxing match in the middle of a water fountain instead. Would Supergirl be stronger against him?
Why couldn't they just have her beat him, and then leave it up in the air if he was full-powered or not. It only appears that way.
Do you have any scans that mentions them or any idea of an issue that they turn up in? That area should have been levelled from the shockwaves of their impacts on each other, if nothing else. Both her and Flash should take up some martial arts. Your line of thinking is what causes these shitty scripts, "Supergirl needs to be the best in everything because it's her show. Supergirl isn't stronger or more powerful than Superman. "Yeah I'm pretty peeved. Doesn't haven't to be a question of "well who's stronger her or (insert male super hero)". But female empowerment is Kara and can be shown whenever she's on the screen - it doesn't need to be so obvious. Also men like Martian man hunter and superman shouldn't have to be weakened in order for Kara to stand out. This is what has driven me nuts about the show. Why would Superman say that he doesn't think he would save the world over his girlfriend? was the way to go.I dropped the show a long time ago, but I came back for tonight's episode to give it another chance.
I like supergirl when we see Kara as an independent strong superhero without the need for someone to state the obvious - the speech cat made in the penultimate episode this season to rhea was terrible. Super (no pun intended) interested in reading about themThere's evidence that Kryptonians once ruled a vast spacefairing empirethis sounds very interesting, could you elaborate a little more on that?Could Supes fly out to the sun for a month and gain superstrength? Not actually stronger, she just uses more strength in the average confrontation. Like WTFIf they hadn't continuously mentioned how supergirl is stronger than superman then that fight wouldn't have been so bad.I love superman and so to see him constantly saying how inferior he is seemed like horrible writing. Considering she's been on the job for 2 years, and him for what we can assume is probably 10-15, it felt forced and unconvincing. And then she popped him on the chin and that was that. But whatever, what can I expect from a team of writers who've been very unsubtle and grinding the "girl power" screws into our heads, since the first episode? But that's the thing, it doesn't mean he's a better fighter. Kara had a direct line to a carefully designed solar radiation treatmentAnother factor to consider is that while Kal may have absorbed a greater amount of sunlight over a longer period of time, he frequently depletes those reserves. So yes it is quite retarded to say Supergirl is stronger than Superman her feats don’t prove anything meanwhile Superman has 4 Lifting Features and 1 striking feature that required Infinite Strength whereas Supergirl has 0 feats of any kind to prove anything.
