Mumbai : Condolences poured in for noted Hindi and Urdu poet Nida Fazli, who died here on Monday. Nida Fazli. He wrote essays significant of concurrent poets of the 60's in his book Mulaqatein that affronted poets such as Kaifi Azmi, Ali Sardar Jafri, and Sahir Ludhianvi.
Nida Fazli is a poet lyricist. He was born to Jamil Fatima and Murtaza Hasan Baidi. His second wife was Malti Joshi. He received the honor of “ Mir Taqi Mir award” for Deewaron Ke Bich ( an autobiographical novel ) from the MP Govt.
At the time of partition, his parents migrated to Pakistan while Nida preferred to stay in India.
