Went last night to see Star Wars with 4 friends. I have been there for the IMAX theater and that's it. I'm really am good at science and the Whitaker Center has made a big part in that. It's been years since I saw a movie there. We were quite disappointed in science center for children. I really wanted to give this raving reviews but I just cant. And a very disappointing one Unfortunately we won't be back.Took my son here as a nice suprise on a hot day. It was one floor of the museum with interesting info on the Dino's and cool displays. It's always pretty clean and has a movie theater. 'We had a great time this visit, the kids got to have a 'snowball' fight and do some skating on the 'slippery' pond on the main level. The learning and entertainment complex features three-floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits, and is composed of three main venues – Sunoco Performance Theater, Select Medical Digital Cinema, and Harsco Science Center.Visitors of all ages learn about the world around them through engaging performances, programs, and exhibits at the Center, including KidsPlace–a kid-sized cityscape just for children ages 5 and under–and Forces of Nature –an examination of how weather and geology affects the earth.Other activities offered at the Center include documentary viewings, live performances in the 600-seat theater, educational presentations, and art exhibitions. So many broken exhibits. On the top floor is a kid city with an ambulance, a grocer, a puppet theater, a climbing building and another water area. Saw Bacon Brothers in concert. All I ended up with was a mini-cheeseburger; some patrons didn't even get that.

Since it was a rainy day, we looked for an indoor activity. It has an onsite starbucks coffee as well as a large gift shop.
