It isn’t a reliable way to go in every instance, so I stay away from those converted tires and am patient to wait for the “real thing” to come out. $49.99 - $83.99. It really has a good grip for a 40mm tire and I would definitely take this tire on buff single track where I feel it would be right at home. There are successful conversions of tubed type tires to tubeless, but with every success story I hear of people having failures with the very same tires.
