Would highly recommend to anyone open enough to understand what they were shooting for with this film. Officer Lou Garou isn't the best cop in small-town Woodhaven - in fact, he's probably the worst.

If you don't want kids to learn what exactly happens to a penis when its owner turns into a werewolf, don't let them watch this movie. It might be what they call B rated, but I believe it to be just as good if not better than 75 percent of what came out during that time period. Most will tell you that Wolfcop is a B Movie classic. just great b movie funny,well made the effects are great the plot not to stupid too and cheesy , glad guys got money for it now alot people will say movie is crap but then ask them what there fav movies are some of best movies are independent b movies looking forward to part two guys While it's a 15, be warned boobs appear to be a theme, there is sex and there is one particular scene that will make grown wince and would seriously traumatise an teen.

We don't watch truly bad films, just funny B-Movies. The giant wolf penis in the beginning was hilarious as well as the face removal scene. The plot is pretty silly and often hilarious thanks to Lou's alcoholic antics and … It took itself too seriously even if the idea of a cop as a wolf is goofy. Leo Farfad seemed like an interesting character as the town drunk who just so happens to turn into a werewolf, and his sidekick played by Jonathan Cherry works quite well. As some one said, very reminiscent of the style of Shotgun Hobo.Cheesy yet funny crime fighting alcoholic werewolf horror. Let me repeat that, because the trailer does not make this clear- THIS MOVIE IS WORSE THAN R RATED and the trailer does not really show that.
It alternates between being graphically disgusting, violent, and sexual without "really" ever crossing a line into being exploitative of any of those concepts- but it's not clear exactly where that line is, other than probably way beyond what the American rating board would give an R rating. Wolfcop is an excellent example of a very fun movie that excels at what it tries to be (a campy but hilarious monster movie), not just a lame B-movie (but sets the bar there). Although, while its possible I don't appreciate Canadian humour, I didn't find the film as funny as some others found it. But the fact that they took my favorite movie monster and crossed it with comedy, blows my mind and it turned out absolutely awesome. It was mentioned in a comic routine I saw and I was not disappointed. Fun movie, written with tongue firmly in cheek.
