The Bard experience is unique in that everyone takes their education very seriously and actually enjoys learning! In addition, Beacon has a fantastic array of clubs and teams that are open to all students!Like most transitions into high school, mine was difficult. In addition to this, students are giving the chance to get college credits during their senior year at Hunter College, which is amazing! This school offers a lot of extracurricular activities and a wide selection of sports to choose from.
Because there are so many students, many things were disorganized. I will say that there are definitely improvements being made in resource accessibility for students, as well as transparency from administration.Bronx High School of Science is a very competitive school filled with rigorous courses. Lastly, the school could definitely do better in terms of school safety since a lot of students take the subway to school.HSMSE is a good school, I feel prepared for college and it has taught me a lot. Moreover, I feel as if the Tribeca area adds a lot to the Stuyvesant experience.
It is also on a college campus (Kingsborough Community College ) and is surrounded by multiple security guards ensuring my safety in the school. While it may not have the facilities of larger schools, and its focus on traditional teaching methods and techniques may not be for everyone, it repeatedly and consistently produces graduates that are highly sought after by colleges and other schools. You could only find extremely passionate and enthusiastic educators in the highest level classes, which means the majority of the students here never get to have the experience of having an extraordinarily passionate teacher, which likely is a reason why most people do no enjoy school.I will always remember my history teachers at HSAS & their classes. Students create research-based “exhibitions” as a graduation requirement, exempting them from nearly all state Regents exams.An expanding arts program offers music and drama courses.

It is also great for learning material in a less stressful environment.As a student at Baruch College Campus High School, the one thing my school would be known for is its strong community. Herricks offers a variety of after-school activities and elective classes to help engage teenagers in a plethora of hobbies, and the teachers continue to be passionate about what they do and prioritize the students. This school has a great teacher that work diligently each day and help students one on one on any problems they might be having in the class or in school. Overwhelmed. Good things about our school however, is that the location provides us with a lot of places to get food during lunch and we are able to use City College’s facilities including the quad! This is our second Waldorf school, and we can appreciate it’s strengths even compared to other schools that follow the Waldorf education. Exclude schools that offer grades higher than the selected grade.Tuition is for the highest grade offered and may have changed for the current school year. Clubs such as the Environmentalist Club takes advantage of this by breeding oysters and releasing them out into the sea.
