If you’re a fan of the Buzzz SS for your understable compliment to the Buzzz, you should like the Buzzz OS as an overstable compliment. To range it, I'll adjust the height and nose angle; get some extra height and it will glide farther still without fading.
A mako3 thrown with a lot of power is gonna want to drift right, or stand up if released on hyzer. I’ve found that the Mako3 is straighter on a gentle throw and slightly understable on a power throw, while the Buzzz is reliably stable even if I crank it. My buzzz SS is more stable than any of my buzzzs or any that I’ve thrown. Buzzz and EMac feel a lot better to me. I love throwing an Opto Pure for straight drives. A higher similarity would be between a star mako3 and esp buzzz SS.Buzzz is more stable. Sure it will have a nice slow turn if thrown hard enough, but it’s not as effortlessly straight as Mako3. But im liking the Roc3 more. Essentially felt like a beat in buzzz, not a different disc. It has the same feel in the hand that you know and love, but a much more stable flight. Buzzz isnt beefy but it easily handles more power than a mako3. Comet is great too, but the rim is a lot different from the Mako3. I ended up bagging 2 star mako3's (one 180g and one 171g) to really get the most out of that amazing disc.I would still say they are not really comparable. Mako is a round edged mid, which is so different in hand feel, even if you could find a Buzzz that flies similar.Agree 100%, I stopped throwing the mako3 because I realized I don’t like the hand feel. Now it's slightly understable with tons of glide and just enough fade to flatten out at the end of big annys and not cut roll.
