we knew some masks burn to detoxify so we googled reviews and found that other people have the same problem. I washed my face with soap and put on this mask and instantly my entire face started burning. the burning was so horrible i had to rip it off and wash my face. When I took it off, my skin was not red or puffy, I was happy to see, and I rinsed my face and dried as directed. It was super soft, firmer and just felt better. I took it off and I tried to rinse off the residue, but the burning continued. I usually never have acne and I found that the mask did more bad than good to my skin.The scent was VERY strong, and burned my top lip, which was weird because i didn't have the mask on my lips... This product caught my eye because I love coconuts and seems fun. I have tried their clay masks and had no problem, But I think is should be taken off of the shelves this is not ok. This was gifted to me in a goodie bag and i just decided to try it. I don’t have overly sensitive skin, but most masks don’t irritate my skin. I tried their coconut paper mask and I thought maybe the burning was a fluke or maybe I hadn't cleansed my skin as well as I should have, but I wear uncomfortable masks all the time and I had to take this off. I usually have dry spots on my face but no longer do! I will never purchase it again. NOTE: it is very greasy and does NOT smell the greatest. I think the mask gave me a chemical burn. It actually felt burning for the first minute, but after that it felt actually refreshing. I bought this, the tomato one, and some calming one. I expected a scent being that it is coconut, but I was a little taken aback for just how steong it was. It quickly spread and my whole face felt the burning sensation.

After applying the mask that night, and wearing it for the recommended 10 minutes, my skin felt tingly, with a burning sensation. i had it on for 10 SECONDS and my skin felt like it had acid poured over it. It wasn't just a tingle it was a burning feeling. Immediately after I put it on my skin it was burning so bad I could cry. I have prom in two days and I don't know what to do. It felt like my skin was burning within seconds of putting the mask on. But when I did, I didn't regret it. I don't have sensitive skin and this still burned me in a pretty major way.
Please, I want this in a big tub. it says there’s supposed to be a “tingling” but that was NOT a tingle.
My skin is a little sensitive due to accutane, so users using such should stay away!
