The waters surrounding the archipelago are very nutritious and offer a plentiful supply of food. Maybe we see polar bears, maybe we seek shelter in an out-of-the-way cabin or maybe we don’t go far from our doorstep to experience the surrounding wilderness.After the winter, around mid-May, a short spring awaits us, followed by a slightly longer summer. That is a reasonably accurate statement for part of the year. The seasons There are three main seasons in Svalbard: Polar Summer, Northern Lights Winter and Sunny Winter. With the panorama filled with the massive Nordenskiöld glacier, moraine, mountain tops, the whole Arctic dream is mirrored in Pyramiden.
