)Archery (Long-Range combat, also maybe a dragon or two. If you just want to ignore all of those, the remaining trees will probably give you a pretty solid trailer LDB build to go off of.TL;DR - My build is similar to yours, I just added enchanting basically. For the lore article, see Dragonborn (Lore).. "Skyrim legend tells of a hero known as the Dragonborn, a warrior with the body of a mortal and soul of a dragon, whose destiny it is to destroy the evil dragon Alduin." I usually just use my bow while closing the gap to an enemy, otherwise I'm in the thick of battle with my sword and shield.Alteration and Restoration fits the build nicely. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts I spent about 50 hours on this character - probably the longest I've spent on any since my first way back in 2011. So basically I had an idea last night about tying the first and last dragonborn into one entity. I'm not going to turn this in to a Shout guide - check out my Then comes one of the coolest things about this character - Awaken mode. With alchemy I just amass money and then I buy ingots and ore to train smithing (+skill training).Ever since I found out I can bind two potions to the controller it's become a staple in all my builds. I really don't like Alchemy because I think it's very time consuming so it's not in my build below.Primary Skills: One-handed, Block, Archery, Smithing, EnchantingSecondary Skills: Alteration, Restoration, Heavy Armor, Light ArmorOptional/Late game: Alchemy, Speech, Destruction, ConjurationEarly game, he'll play like a typical sword and board warrior.Obtain the Transmute skill early on and transmute lots of ore to level up Alteration gradually.Enchant those gold rings with Fortify Two Handed (guaranteed drop from a bandit chief in White River Watch).Use Healing after/during fights to level restoration. For light and heavy armor, I'd suggest just training those at least to level 50. I wanted to play a character like the Dragonborn foretold in the prophecy and on Alduin's Wall, with a mastery of Shouts befitting of a Dragonborn that felt useful and powerful without being totally dominating all the time in combat.
Might use this as inspiration.Martin played a major role in Oblivion's main quest. Soul Tear's 300 unresistable damage per use becomes very powerful! While I stayed out of the Civil War seeing other threats as more important, you could join in and guide your side to victory.
Probably necessary if you plan to play this on a difficulty harder than Adept.Speech is useful for the Merchant perk. Since the LDB is a Vampire, the Restoration tree is also great for the Necromage perk, as well as simply healing yourself while fighting. As stated before, there are other trees you might want to go into, but the optional trees don't really have a place in the build except to be more like the Ebony Warrior. Once he masters his mind and Voice, he can Awaken his Dragonborn blood to chain Shouts with devastating effect for a short time each day.As befits a Dragonborn, you possess a mastery of the Thu'um matched by no other. Here's a few of my favorites - if you've got one you like, stick it in the comments and I might put it up here! There are 3 main facets which define the way you play the Last Dragonborn - the Protector, Dragonborn and Adventurer. This build really kept me interested the whole way through. )Smithing (Make your weapons and armor viable for late-game play. For the Skyrim add-on, see The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn. Awaken mode provides a way around the restolooping, potion stacking and werewolf chatting to achieve 100% cooldown reduction in a completely legitimate way once your alchemy skill is high enough. As soon as you leave Helgen, I think it takes about an hour to collect a ton of ingredients, that, with the right potions, brings my alchemy to 60+ and earns me a bunch of money to start with. )The Volkihar Vampires are sided with because of the old Dawnguard trailers and promo images showing The Last Dragonborn as a vampire, complete with glowing eyes.Marked For Death (Make sure you get the Companion's Insight ability from the Black Book: "The Winds of Change")Also, never change her armor, just make her some new steel armor and improve it. This will therefore include trailers, artwork, game covers and also endorsed statues.
For Light Armor, you can use Grelka in Riften. After your Enchanting gets relatively high from the Transmute-Ring-Enchanting cycle, you should be able to make a ton of money and can buy training for whatever you fancy. If that interests you, you can make it part of the build.Conjuration is also something the Ebony Warrior can use. Or I just get overwelmed or too cocky.I carry a bunch of fortify + restore health potions and a combat potion: on my current Nord build that's Fortify two-handed + regen stamina + resist fire (I consider it a typical Nord concoction to drink when going into battle). It means I can leave restoration and alteration out of my build for now.You become a Vampire Lord regardless what side you choose when you enter the Soul Cairn.
