My only other comment is that more showers are needed in this large marina and they should be more distributed throughout the marina as are the restrooms. Waukegan Harbor has a full service marina that welcomes transients. Great place.

Waukegan Harbor will be my future stop of last resort. The location was such that it was difficult to gain access to a meal at night.

To be honest, the area around the marina is lacking in regards to food, entertainment and activities but hopefully the proposed development that is planned for the area will provide boaters with more "on shore" options in the future.Our home port.
Sunny 77°F. My wife and I typically cruise out of Waukegan Harbor. I am not at all happy.
Waukegan Harbor & Marina consists of nearly 700 slips and can accommodate almost any boater’s needs. No keys or codes for washroom provided so did not get to use facilities.
